For practitioners/early
years teachers, local authorities
and other organisations, the philosophy of the partnership is simple -
our aim is to try and help those in the early years and childcare sector to
avoid reinventing the wheel when it comes to developing sources of information
such as support publications and materials. 'The
Developmental Resources
and Early Years and Childcare
Publishing
Partnerships' include specialists from local authorities,
schools, NHS trusts and other sector based organisations as well as
specialist authors and consultants. Together they
work with publishing/publications company KMMD to
develop professionally produced support materials.
Written and developed by
authors/practitioners/professionals
and designed and produced by KMMD, these
publications, which include the unique and very popular Development Wheels™, can then be 'customised' for other sector based organisations and local
authorities,
by being branded with your logo and other details. There are currently 26
titles within the Development Wheel range.
It's a practical way of
offering new publications to organisations working within the
early years, childcare, health and family support sectors. And
as all of the
development work is already done, it saves you the time, money and
resources required to produce your own new materials from scratch.
In addition, for
online purchasing,
we have copies of our publications available to purchase through the
retail section of our website. These are identical in terms of content,
but are 'general' copies produced for individual/general use and not for a
